 Amateur Photo Enthusiast The program seems to work ok for photos with about a 300 dpi. The reason that I was interested in akvis magnifier is that I have been trying (with no success) to enlarge a few thumbnails that have a very low dpi (about a 100.) One was taken with a sony digital camera. The original photo was damaged, leaving only the thumbnail. The other with a cell phone camera. These photos are very important to me.So far what ever I do and what ever software that I have tried to date I have been unable to get a good enlargement. Can ...

 The maginication window should move following the mouse movment. Or at least should have an option to do so.
 Although the features of Desktop Magnifier are OK I was looking for a program which follows the mouse. A new search with "mangifying glass" finally led to the desired.I will keep DM in mind - actually have stored the link - because sometime the one method is better then the other.Klaus Daube

 Review of Magnifier 2.4 The program works very well. If there was a way to incorporate sharpening along with the smoothing it would be very helpfull.

Reviewed for the purpose of a family member with low vision. Found that it performed well, except it was very slow, even at the highest refresh rate. Couldn't quite keep up. Quality of image is just a little bit better than the Windows 7 built-in magifier. Due to the refresh lag, I ended up going back to the embedded version.

I like the idea, but it won\'t let me open my Incredimail Email client while MouseZoom is running. Also, having to reset the viewer every time I use it is a bit annoying, but I intend to keep using it... :o)
 It wasn't apparent that this tool doesn't work on a Mac so it didn't work for me once I downloaded it:(
 It is a nice program. I enjoy this program, One problem with it is that when you click a button in another program it stops working until you click inside of the enlarged image. I wanted to watch a five second video enlarged and it would not work I had to click back and fourth and I missed the video. Althogh this program is very useful and has a wonderful price.
